Luckily our stainless steel coffee pod is built to handle the pressure required to do this, plus we have the latest model which has a easy snap to close lid. This makes using and cleaning the coffee capsule much easier with no time wasted on trying to screw on and off this tiny lid with grinds getting in the way.
